Hello, World! Introducing Gravity Linux

Gravity Linux is a project to bring Linux to modern Apple Silicon Macs (M4 and above) and to upstream that support into the Linux kernel and all the userspace projects it depends on. Everything in it is built by clean-room reverse engineering: we do not look at Apple source code, disassembly, or leaked technical information, our methods and procedures are public, and we publish artifacts sufficient to verify the clean-room nature of our work. If we do this right, Gravity Linux the distro eventually goes away, because the support it carries will simply be part of every other Linux distribution.

We’re looking to put out our first release very soon.

This site is a work in progress

Gravity Linux hasn’t had its first release yet, and this site is an early draft. Copy, documentation, and support information are incomplete or still placeholder — please don’t treat anything here as final.
